Thank you for joining us online. We hope and pray that the Raising Arrows Website will provide you with answers, encouragement, and a place of community.
Some of our favorites include Jesus Christ, our kids, and a fresh pot of coffee (dark roast – always hot & ready for you to stop by). Ben would add golf (but I have no desire to put a ball in a hole that far away!) and music (but I can’t sing). I love cooking (Ben set the fire alarm off while making grilled cheese and I haven’t let him in the kitchen since – that was 16 years ago 😂 he happily does the dishes instead now and lets me do the cooking) and books, oh so many books. As a family, we love glamping in our RV. We used to tent camp – and then a round of the flu and a rain storm and well . . . I’ll spare you the details, but it wasn’t pretty. Needless to say RV camping is my favorite!! We also love hospitality, our home is always a place of ministry. Someone is always stopping by and that is just the way we love it!
Our passion is homeschooling. We have been homeschooling for 11 years and we love it. Welcome to Raising Arrows. We are so glad you are here.

A few things you should know about Raising Arrows:
1. This is a page for Christian homeschool families and what you will find on this page will be faith based. We are lovers of Jesus and believe that homeschooling is the best way for us to disciple our children just as Jesus discipled His disciples. Everything we post will come from this perspective. Education is very important, but at the end of high school if our children have more random facts about American History memorized than the Word of God – we’ve FAILED!!!
2. Please notice there is NO advertising on this page. We do NOT get a kick back on any curriculum we show you nor is this a for profit blog. Our hearts are ministry minded for you. We have no intention of getting rich or making Raising Arrows a business. What we do here is simply out of service and love for the Christian homeschool community.
3. We started this page simply as a ministry to you! We are your cheerleaders. Homeschooling is a big deal and we want to be here to support you each step of the way.
